Asilah is situated on the Atlantic coast, about 31 km south of Tangier on a hilly area. The town is a sheer cultural center in Morocco, for its arts and the Andalusian architecture.

Asilah has witnessed a three-decade period of transformations in its infrastructure and public facilities, and thus was able to be a major touristic and educational pole. The old quarter (or the antique town) is beautiful sight to behold. It’s famous for its narrow pathways, neat streets, houses covered in white and blue, traditional markets, and its ancient ramparts surrounding it from all sides. Beside the historical places, the town consists of several natural landscapes, like the beach, another reason why Asilah is one of Morocco’s most visited destinations.
