Sefrou
Sefrou is small town at the foot of the Middle Atlas Mountains. It is said to be older than Fes and only 28 kilometers separate the two. The town is known for its marvelous history built up by Muslims, Christians and Jews, which indicates the three religions lived peacefully in this town for a long time.
While roaming around the town, the old buildings, the architecture and the ramparts surrounding the Medina are extremely beautiful and eye-catching. Because of its trees, water streams and waterfalls, Sefrou is often called ‘’Morocco’s Garden’’.
The National Cherry Festival is held in the town every year in June and is one of the oldest one most super festivals in Morocco; therefore, it’s attended by foreign tourists too.
