Oualili or Volubilis, in Latin, is an ancient Roman city, only 33km away from Meknes city. It was built in the 3rd century B.C, which makes it at the top of Moroccan heritage. That aura coming through those worn bricks you're surrounded by, the waft of antiquity and the spectacle of wild plants amid the abandoned ruins are, undoubtedly, a reason why most tourists target Volubilis.
